Your contributions will be reviewed by project maintainers. You'll receive constructive feedback, refine your work, and learn how to write clean, professional code that meets industry standards.
Once your open-source contributions are approved, you'll receive your Internship Certificate, Letter of Recommendation (if eligible), and a GitHub-based proof of work. Your portfolio gets stronger.

Taskintern is a task-based skill development platform where individuals complete real-world, industry-relevant projects to build practical skills and showcase their capabilities. It's designed to help you strengthen your portfolio and prove your job readiness through hands-on, outcome-focused work.
Unlike traditional courses, we don't provide training or instruction. Instead, we offer carefully designed tasks that participants complete independently, demonstrating their ability to research, problem-solve, and produce professional-quality deliverables.
Our program is ideal for early-career professionals, recent graduates, career changers, and individuals looking to demonstrate practical skills to potential employers without the time commitment of traditional education.
While self-learning is valuable, Taskintern provides structure, professional evaluation of your work, and credible verification of your skills through our completion certificate and potential recommendation letters. The defined framework helps ensure you're developing relevant, in-demand skills that employers value.
To apply, click on "Start Your Journey" and fill out the Google Form provided. Once enrolled, you will receive task-based projects aligned with your chosen field.

Yes. You must have basic working knowledge in your chosen track so you can complete the tasks independently. This program is designed for self-driven learners who can build projects on their own with minimal guidance. Before joining, make sure you are comfortable with the core concepts and tools of the track you select.
We recommend choosing your track carefully before starting. However, if you feel strongly about switching, you can request a one-time track change within the first 3 days of enrollment. After that, track changes are not allowed, as each track is designed to build progressively on previous tasks. Switching later may lead to confusion or incomplete progress.
Participants register for our program, receive access to a series of carefully designed tasks, complete these tasks at their own pace, submit their work for verification, and receive credentials upon successful completion.
The tasks focus on strengthening your fundamentals and guiding you toward building projects independently. These tasks help you develop the skills required for real-world applications.
The duration is typically one month, giving you enough time to complete tasks and gain practical experience.

You are welcome to discuss ideas, share resources, and motivate each other, especially in our community forums or groups. However, all submitted work must be your own. Copy-pasting or submitting someone else's work will lead to disqualification. Think of it as working in a team but building your own proof of work.
All participants who successfully complete the required tasks receive a certificate of completion. Exceptional performers may also receive a personalized letter of recommendation.
Our credentials are designed to demonstrate practical skills rather than replace traditional education. They serve as tangible evidence of your capabilities that you can showcase in your portfolio and discuss during interviews.

We don't directly place participants in jobs, but our credential program is designed to make you more competitive in the job market by providing tangible evidence of your skills and capabilities.
While we don't guarantee job placements, we actively bridge the gap between learning and employment by: Highlighting top performers to our network of hiring partners Offering open-source internship experience to enhance your resume Providing access to a curated list of job boards, bootcamps, and alternative hiring platforms (like fellowships and returnships) Issuing verifiable certificates and proof of work that boost your credibility with employers Our goal is to equip you with real-world skills and visibility that increase your chances of landing opportunities.

Your submissions are evaluated against clear, predefined criteria that are provided with each task. Evaluation is conducted by industry professionals with relevant expertise in the subject matter.
If your task submission doesn't meet the minimum requirements, you'll receive feedback with suggested improvements (where applicable). You'll be allowed one resubmission per task within the 30-day track duration. However, repeated low-quality or copied submissions may lead to disqualification from the program without a refund. We encourage you to treat each task as a chance to learn, improve, and showcase your real potential.
While Taskintern is not traditional employment, you can list it as a credential program with specific projects completed. We recommend focusing on the skills demonstrated and outcomes achieved rather than presenting it as traditional work experience.
